Meet Beth

Beth's passion for design began at Parsons School of Design in NYC  where she studied sculpture and received a BFA. A New York native,  Beth relocated to Los Angeles where she worked as a sculptor and fabricator in the studio of the American sculptor and printmaker Jonathan Borofsky. She then moved to Disney Imagineering to carve props for Euro Disney, which eventually led to her appointment as Art Director for the game show “Shop 'til You Drop" and a daytime Emmy nomination for art direction.

Beth worked as a scenic painter (IATSE Local 729) and sculptor for television and film productions for many years with credits including the movie “Fargo”, which notably features her 23-foot-tall Paul Bunyan sculpture.

Throughout her career in the film industry, Beth continued to immerse herself in creative projects focused on her growing passion for plants, livable and sustainable outdoor spaces, and landscape design. She attended the UCLA Landscape Architecture program and received her contractor license in 2002. Beth appeared as the Horticulturist on 4 seasons (52 episodes) of HGTV’s “The Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie”, embracing the opportunity to bring her distinctive vision to a wider audience.

Beth’s designs have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens and she has been endorsed on Buy Local Santa Monica. Beth is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) and is currently involved with a Pollinator Highway project in her community.
